How do I switch back to the adult profile on Paramount+ on Roku after kids’ shows?

Answer

On Roku, remove the Paramount+ channel, restart the Roku, reinstall Paramount+, then sign in or Activate / Watch Now with the same email used for the Walmart+ membership so the adult profile returns.

Follow these steps

  1. Try switching profiles inside Paramount+

Open Paramount+, look for the profile icon or Switch Profile, and select the adult profile. Enter a kids PIN if prompted.

You should see: Either the adult profile loads, or it still stays stuck so you know a reinstall is needed.

  2. Remove the Paramount+ channel on Roku

On the Roku home screen, highlight the Paramount+ tile, press the star (*) button, choose Remove channel, and confirm.

You should see: Paramount+ is removed from the Roku home screen.

  3. Restart the Roku

Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart (wording can vary slightly by Roku version) and wait for the home screen to return.

You should see: The Roku finishes restarting and is ready to add channels again.

  4. Reinstall and activate with the Walmart+ email

Re-add Paramount+ from the Roku Channel Store. Open it and use Activate, Watch Now, or Sign in with the same email used for the Walmart+ membership that includes Paramount+.

You should see: Paramount+ signs in and shows your household profiles, including the adult profile.

  5. Sign out and back in if profiles are still wrong

In Paramount+ account or settings on the Roku, sign out, then sign back in with that same Walmart+ email and choose the adult profile.

You should see: Adult content and the adult profile are available again after kids’ shows.

Extra tips

What to look for: A kids profile or kids content view that will not return to the adult profile, plus Paramount+ delivered through Walmart+ on a Roku device.

Before you change anything: Know the email and password for the Walmart+ / Paramount+ account that should own the adult profile. Note any kids PIN if you set one in Paramount+. Removing the Roku channel deletes local app data for Paramount+ on that device but should not cancel the subscription. Use only the official Roku channel store and Paramount+ sign-in screens.
