Why did the freezer stop making ice after a water filter change?

Follow these steps
Remove and firmly reseat the filter
Remove the new filter, then reinstall it until it clicks or locks fully in the housing. Wipe any drips.
You should see: The filter sits flush and locked with no major leaking.
Flush the dispenser
Dispense cold water for 2–3 minutes to clear air from the new filter and lines. Expect sputtering at first.
You should see: Water flows steadily without heavy sputtering.
Reset the filter light
Use your model’s reset: often hold Filter for about 3 seconds, or follow the Ice Type/Lock combination listed inside the fridge door.
You should see: The filter or replace light turns off or resets.
Power-cycle the ice maker
