How do I cancel an Apple TV+ subscription on a Mac?

On a Mac, cancel Apple TV+ from System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or from tv.apple.com after signing in with the Apple ID that billed the plan. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date so the next charge does not go through.

Follow these steps
Open Apple ID subscriptions on the Mac
Open System Settings, select your name (Apple ID), then open Subscriptions. On older macOS versions, open the App Store, click your name, then Subscriptions.
You should see: You see a list of active Apple subscriptions for that Apple ID.
Select Apple TV+
Find Apple TV+ in the list and open it. Confirm the renewal date and the Apple ID shown at the top of the account area.
You should see: The subscription details page shows Cancel Subscription or a similar end-renewal option.
Cancel the subscription
Choose Cancel Subscription and confirm. If Apple asks you to keep benefits or offers a cheaper plan, decline if your goal is to stop billing.
You should see: The status changes to canceled or shows access until the current period ends, with no further renewal.
Use tv.apple.com if Subscriptions is missing
Open a browser, go to tv.apple.com, sign in with the same Apple ID, open the account or profile menu, then Subscriptions or Manage Subscription, and cancel Apple TV+ there.
You should see: Apple TV+ appears in the web subscription list and can be canceled the same way.
Confirm billing stopped
Return to Subscriptions after a minute and check that Apple TV+ no longer says it will renew, or note the “Expires” date.
You should see: The plan shows it will end after the paid period and will not charge again.
