How do I fix a Hume Band that will not pair or connect to an iPhone?
Answer
Confirm the Hume app has Bluetooth permission under Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth, remove the band from the charger and hold it next to the iPhone, then forget any old Hume entries in iPhone Bluetooth settings and retry pairing from the official Hume app.
Follow these steps
Allow Bluetooth for the Hume app
On the iPhone, open Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth and confirm the Hume app is enabled. Also open Settings > Hume and allow Bluetooth if shown.
You should see: The Hume app is permitted to use Bluetooth.
Take the band off the charger
Remove the Hume Band from its charger, wake it if needed per the product guide, and keep it within a few inches of the iPhone during pairing.
You should see: The band is powered and close enough for discovery.
Forget old Bluetooth entries
Open Settings > Bluetooth, tap the info button next to any Hume or related device, choose Forget This Device, then toggle Bluetooth off and on once.
You should see: Old Hume pairings are cleared from the iPhone.
Pair again from the Hume app
Force-close and reopen the Hume app, start Add Band or pairing mode, and follow only the in-app steps while the band stays next to the phone.
You should see: The app finds the band and completes pairing, or shows a specific failure state.
Retry after an iPhone restart
If they still do not see each other, restart the iPhone, confirm Bluetooth permission again, and repeat one clean pairing attempt with no other Bluetooth accessories actively connecting.
You should see: A fresh session either pairs successfully or confirms a hardware/support issue.

Extra tips
What to look for: Whether Hume appears under Bluetooth app permissions, whether the band is charging during pairing, and any prior Hume Band listing in iPhone Bluetooth devices.
Before you change anything: Charge the band enough to leave pairing mode, then remove it from the charger for the attempt. Use the official Hume app from the App Store. Note any LED or vibration behavior on the band while pairing. Never share Apple ID passwords or codes with unexpected callers.
