How do I fix No Service on an iPhone after switching to Mint Mobile?
Answer
After moving from Verizon to Mint Mobile, toggle Airplane Mode, turn off Wi-Fi Calling temporarily, install any iPhone update, then restart and confirm Cellular shows the Mint line as On. If No Service remains, the Mint eSIM/SIM or number transfer usually still needs a carrier-side refresh in the Mint account tools.
Follow these steps
Toggle Airplane Mode
Open Control Center or Settings, turn Airplane Mode on for about 15 seconds, then turn it off and wait for the network indicators to refresh.
You should see: The iPhone attempts a fresh network registration and either gains signal or still shows No Service clearly.
Turn off Wi-Fi Calling temporarily
Go to Settings > Cellular > Wi-Fi Calling (or Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling) and turn Wi-Fi Calling off for now. Weak or captive Wi-Fi can interfere with Mint calling while the cellular line is still attaching.
You should see: Wi-Fi Calling is off so the phone must use the Mint cellular connection.
Install iPhone updates
Connect to Wi-Fi, open Settings > General > Software Update, and install any available update. Carrier settings updates sometimes appear during or after this step—install those too if prompted.
You should see: The iPhone is on the latest available iOS/carrier settings for Mint compatibility.
Restart and verify Cellular
Restart the iPhone. Then open Settings > Cellular and confirm Cellular Data is on and the Mint plan/line is enabled. Place a test call with Wi-Fi off if possible.
You should see: Cellular shows the Mint line active and a test call works, or No Service remains after the line looks enabled.
Finish activation with Mint if needed
If No Service continues, open the official Mint account app or website and complete any remaining SIM/eSIM or transfer steps. Contact Mint support with your number if the account shows active but the iPhone still has no signal—Verizon cannot restore service on a ported Mint line.
You should see: Mint completes provisioning or provides a SIM/eSIM refresh that restores service.

Extra tips
What to look for: Status bar showing No Service, Cellular Data or Mint line toggles under Settings > Cellular, Wi-Fi Calling status, and whether a Software Update is available.
Before you change anything: Confirm the Mint activation or transfer SMS/email finished. Keep the Mint account login and SIM/eSIM details handy. Prefer official Mint and Apple Settings paths over random “signal booster” apps. Do not share one-time codes with unexpected callers.
