How do I attach and send a photo with the paperclip icon?
Answer
Tap or click the paperclip (attachment) icon, choose Photo Library or Files, select the image, then send the message or submit the form. If the paperclip is missing, use the app’s Attach, Photos, or Share option instead, and confirm the photo uploaded before leaving the screen.
Follow these steps
Open the compose or upload screen
Go to the message, email, or form where the photo needs to go and make sure the text box or reply field is active.
You should see: You see the paperclip, Attach, Photos, or similar control near the message field.
Tap the paperclip and choose the photo
Tap the paperclip icon, then choose Photo Library, Photos, or Files. Select the correct image, such as an inscription or detail photo, and confirm Attach or Add.
You should see: A thumbnail or file name for the photo appears in the message or upload area.
Grant Photos access if prompted
If the phone asks for Photos permission, choose the option that allows access to the needed images, then select the photo again.
You should see: The photo picker opens and shows your library.
Send or submit the attachment
Review the thumbnail, then tap Send, Submit, or the equivalent button. Wait until the upload progress finishes before closing the app.
You should see: The message sends or the form shows the photo as uploaded.
Confirm delivery on your side
Open the sent message or the form confirmation and verify the photo thumbnail is present. If send failed, try a smaller image size or a different network connection.
You should see: The sent item clearly includes the photo, or you get a specific upload error to fix.

Extra tips
What to look for: A paperclip, Attach, or Photos button in the compose screen, a thumbnail of the selected image, and a successful send or upload confirmation.
Before you change anything: Confirm you are in the correct conversation or upload form. Have the photo already saved on the phone or computer. Check that you are allowed to send attachments in that app. Do not send the photo through unexpected links that ask for passwords.
