Why won’t a Hulu password work after Disney and Hulu accounts were combined?

Follow these steps
Sign in on a browser first
On a phone or computer, open the official Hulu website or app and attempt sign-in with the email you used for Hulu. Prefer this over the smart TV while sorting credentials.
You should see: Sign-in succeeds, fails with a clear message, or prompts for Disney-related account steps.
Use Forgot Password on the official page
Choose Forgot Password / Reset Password on the official Hulu or Disney account recovery page for that email, then create a new password from the reset email.
You should see: You receive a reset email and can set a new password, or you learn the email is not recognized.
Check for a Disney-linked login
If Disney sign-in options appear, try the Disney account email that may now be linked to Hulu. Use only the official buttons in the Hulu or Disney apps.
