Follow these steps
Unplug the DreamStation
Stop therapy if running, turn the device off, and unplug it from the wall outlet before opening any cover.
You should see: The machine is fully powered down.
Open the modem or SIM compartment
Open the accessory or modem door according to the DreamStation manual for your model until you can see the SIM card slot.
You should see: The SIM card is visible and accessible.
Remove and inspect the SIM
Slide the SIM out carefully. Check that the metal contacts look clean and the card is not cracked. Leave it out if the screen instructed removal, or reseat it firmly if your provider said to reinstall a working card.
You should see: The SIM is removed or correctly reseated without damage.
Reassemble and test
Close the compartment, plug the DreamStation back in, and power it on. Confirm the SIM error is gone and the therapy screens look normal.
