How do I add pictures from my phone when I do not see a plus icon?

This usually means the app is on a screen that does not allow attachments, photo permission is off, or the control is labeled differently than a plus sign. Checking that you are in a compose or upload view and granting Photos permission often reveals the attach control.

- Do not install apps from popups that claim they can unlock a hidden plus button.
Follow these steps
Open a compose or upload screen
Leave the read-only conversation or profile page and open New message, Reply, Create post, or the form’s Upload area. Attachment controls often appear only while composing.
You should see: You see a keyboard or empty compose box, and sometimes a paperclip, image, or camera icon.
Look for non-plus attach icons
Scan the compose toolbar for a paperclip, landscape-image, gallery, or camera icon. On some sites, choose Choose file or Upload instead of a plus button.
You should see: You find the control that opens the photo picker, even if it is not a plus sign.
Allow Photos or Files permission
If the app asks for Photos, Storage, or Files access, allow it. If nothing happens when you tap attach, open the phone Settings, find the app, and turn on Photos or Files access.
You should see: The photo picker opens and shows your library.
Try the official mobile site or app switch
If a mobile browser page has no upload control, open the service’s official app—or the reverse. Some desktop-only pages hide uploads on small screens.
You should see: An attach or upload option appears in the alternate official client.
Add from Photos with Share
As a workaround, open the photo in Photos or Gallery, tap Share, and choose the target app if it appears in the share sheet.
You should see: The picture is sent or attached through Share even without a plus icon in the other app.
