What should I do if my Samsung TV model is not listed for warranty registration?

Answer

If a Samsung TV model is missing from the warranty portal, register with the exact model code from the TV label or Settings, not the marketing name. If it still does not list, submit the purchase proof through Samsung support chat or email.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Do not pay unofficial websites that claim they can unlock or create Samsung warranty coverage.

Follow these steps

  1. Read the exact model code from the TV

Check the sticker on the back or open Settings and look under Support, About This TV, or similar for the full model code such as characters that include letters and numbers.

You should see: You have the exact model code rather than only a marketing name.

  2. Retry warranty registration with the model code

Return to Samsung’s official warranty or product registration page and enter the full model and serial numbers exactly as printed.

You should see: The form accepts the TV, or still says the model is not found.

  3. Register through Samsung support if the form fails

Start official Samsung chat or email support, explain that the model is not listed, and provide photos of the model/serial label plus the purchase receipt.

You should see: Support confirms coverage or manually registers the purchase.

  4. Save proof of purchase and case details

Keep the receipt, serial number, and any support case number so warranty service can be requested later even if the online form stays incomplete.

You should see: You have documentation that shows when and where the TV was bought.

Extra tips

What to look for: A warranty form that rejects or cannot find the TV model, while the set itself is a Samsung Smart TV 4K

Before you change anything: Find the full model code on the TV’s rear sticker or in Settings > Support/About. Have the purchase receipt or order number ready. Use Samsung’s official warranty or support site only. Do not pay a third party to “activate” warranty coverage.
