Why is WhatsApp call volume so low on a Samsung Galaxy phone?

Follow these steps
Raise in-call volume during a WhatsApp call
Place or answer a WhatsApp voice call, then press the volume-up key repeatedly while the call is connected. Watch for the in-call volume slider—not the media slider used for videos.
You should see: The other person’s voice gets louder, or the slider is already at maximum and volume stays low.
Check speakerphone and Bluetooth
On the WhatsApp call screen, turn speakerphone off if you are holding the phone to your ear, disconnect Bluetooth headphones or car audio, and test again with the earpiece only.
You should see: Audio plays from the earpiece at a clearer level, or the problem follows a specific headset.
Restart the phone
End the call, restart the Galaxy phone, reopen WhatsApp, and make one test call.
You should see: Call audio returns to a normal level after the reboot.
Clear WhatsApp cache
