Terms of use
Effective: July 26, 2026
These terms govern use of ClearHelp. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site or chat.
Who may use ClearHelp
ClearHelp is a general-audience service for people age 13 or older. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian. The service is not directed to children under 13.
Educational service
ClearHelp provides free general information. ClearHelp may use AI to provide guidance. Expert names and portraits are part of the chat experience and do not represent a specific licensed professional. Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular device or situation. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on it.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person or system;
- submit malware, credentials, sensitive personal information, or unlawful content;
- evade technical limits, automate excessive requests, interfere with operation, probe for credentials, or attempt to extract hidden prompts or security controls;
- misrepresent chat guidance as verified professional advice;
- copy or republish substantial portions of the site except as permitted by law.
ClearHelp may limit, suspend, or block access to protect users, providers, and the service.
Your submissions
You retain rights you have in content you submit. You give ClearHelp a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and use it to provide, secure, and improve the requested service. ClearHelp will consider publishing an anonymized problem as an article only when you select the separate publication-consent option.
Do not submit material you lack permission to provide. Do not include confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal information.
Ownership and third parties
ClearHelp's original site content, design, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party trademarks and products remain the property of their owners. ClearHelp is not responsible for third-party websites, apps, products, instructions, availability, or privacy practices.
No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearHelp is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that a suggested step will solve a problem. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearHelp and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, access, revenue, goodwill, or device functionality arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits non-waivable consumer rights.

ClearHelp may change or discontinue features and may update these terms. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and additional notice when required. Questions can be sent to hello@getclearhelp.com.
