How do I fix Connexx hearing aids when the box light is green but Bluetooth will not turn on?

Answer

When the Connexx box shows a solid green light but Bluetooth mode stays off, reset Bluetooth on the phone, reopen the hearing-aid app, then power-cycle the Connexx box and the aids. If the app still says disconnected, remove the old Bluetooth pairing and pair again from the official app rather than the phone’s generic Bluetooth list alone.

Follow these steps

  1. Toggle Bluetooth on the phone

On the Android phone, turn Bluetooth off, wait about 10 seconds, then turn Bluetooth back on. Do not start other Bluetooth device connections until the hearing-aid app finishes reconnecting.

You should see: Phone Bluetooth is fresh and ready for the hearing-aid app to reconnect.

  2. Relaunch the hearing-aid app

Force-close the hearing-aid or Connexx companion app, reopen it, and check whether it still shows the aids as disconnected or offers a Bluetooth/reconnect control.

You should see: The app either reconnects or still shows a clear disconnected state after a clean launch.

  3. Power-cycle the Connexx box

Unplug power from the Connexx box for about 30 seconds, plug it back in, and wait until the solid green light returns before trying Bluetooth mode again.

You should see: The box returns to a solid green light and is ready for another Bluetooth attempt.

  4. Restart the hearing aids

Turn the hearing aids fully off using their power button or by opening the battery doors if that is how your model powers down. Turn them back on with a short press or by closing the doors, then retry Bluetooth mode in the app.

You should see: The aids power on cleanly and the app can attempt a fresh connection.

  5. Forget and re-pair if still disconnected

In Android Bluetooth settings, forget the Connexx or hearing-aid entry if it appears, then start pairing again from inside the official app. If Bluetooth mode still will not enable with a solid green box light, contact the clinic that fitted the aids for a Connexx/session check.

You should see: A new pairing succeeds, or you know clinician support is needed for the Connexx configuration.

Extra tips

What to look for: Solid green light on the Connexx box, Bluetooth mode that will not enable, and an app message that the hearing aids are disconnected.

Before you change anything: Charge or insert fresh batteries in the hearing aids before testing. Keep the phone within a few feet of the Connexx box. Prefer the official hearing-aid app for pairing over random third-party tools. Do not factory-reset aids unless your audiologist’s instructions say to.
