How do I transfer a SiriusXM subscription after buying a new vehicle?

Follow these steps

   Sign in to SiriusXM

   Open the official SiriusXM website or app and sign in to the account that owns the paid subscription.

   You should see: You reach the account home area where subscription and vehicle options are available.

   Open the vehicle list

   Find the section that lists vehicles or radios on the account and open it.

   You should see: You can see the old vehicle and any other radios currently linked to the subscription.

   Remove or cancel the old vehicle plan

   Select the old vehicle, such as a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, and cancel that paid subscription or remove that radio from the paid plan.

   You should see: The old vehicle is no longer billed, or SiriusXM confirms the radio was removed from the active plan.

   Add or activate the new vehicle

   Choose the option to add a vehicle, transfer service, or activate a radio, then enter the new vehicle’s radio ID from the car’s SiriusXM screen or audio settings.

   You should see: The new vehicle appears on the account and can receive the subscription.

   In the new vehicle, turn the radio on, select SiriusXM, and allow a few minutes for activation. Use the in-car refresh or retry option if the app or website provides one.
