How do I update the payment card on a SiriusXM account?

Answer

Sign into your SiriusXM account on the official website or app, open Billing and Payment, and replace the card on file, trying cellular data if Wi‑Fi login pages fail.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Never give full card numbers to callers who contact you unexpectedly about SiriusXM.

Follow these steps

  1. Sign into official SiriusXM billing

Open SiriusXM’s official website or app and sign in with the account that owns the subscription.

You should see: You reach the account home without password errors.

  2. Open Billing and Payment

Find Billing, Payment, Subscription, or My Account payment settings and open the current payment method.

You should see: The card-on-file screen is visible, or an error blocks billing access.

  3. Add the new card and save

Enter the new card details carefully, save changes, and confirm the updated card shows as the default payment method.

You should see: The new card is saved successfully.

  4. Retry on the other network if the page errors

If billing will not load, turn Wi‑Fi off and try on cellular data, or the reverse, then sign in again and save the card.

You should see: The billing page loads on the alternate network.

  5. Confirm service after the update

Play SiriusXM on the radio or app and check that no payment-failure banner remains. Contact SiriusXM support through the official help pages if the card still will not save.

You should see: Service continues on the new card, or support takes over a billing glitch.

Extra tips

What to look for: A Billing and Payment section after sign-in, fields for a new card, and any error when saving the card.

Before you change anything: Have the new card details ready. Use SiriusXM’s official site or app only. Note whether the subscription is billed by SiriusXM, a car trial partner, or an app store. Do not read full card numbers to unexpected callers.
