How do I enter a Mint Mobile activation code on a phone?

Answer

Open the official Mint Mobile app or Mint activation page, sign in with the email used to buy the plan, then enter the ACT code from the order email. Follow the prompts to finish SIM or eSIM install until the line shows active.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Only enter activation codes on Mint’s official app or website, never on a random popup link.

Follow these steps

  1. Find the ACT code in the Mint order email

Open the email from Mint Mobile for your purchase and locate the ACT or activation code. Keep that email available while you activate.

You should see: You have the full activation code ready to type, usually an 11-digit ACT code.

  2. Open Mint’s official activation path

Install or open the Mint Mobile app, or go to Mint’s official activation page in a browser. Sign in or create the Mint account with the same email used to buy the plan.

You should see: You reach a screen that asks for the activation or ACT code.

  3. Enter the ACT code carefully

Type the ACT code exactly as shown in the order email, with no extra spaces. Submit it and wait for Mint to confirm the code.

You should see: Mint accepts the code and continues to SIM or eSIM setup.

  4. Finish SIM or eSIM installation

Follow Mint’s prompts to install the eSIM or insert the physical SIM, then allow the phone to restart or refresh the cellular line if asked.

You should see: The phone shows Mint service or a prompt that the line is activating.

  5. Confirm the line is active

Check that mobile data, calling, and texting work. If activation stalls, reopen the Mint app, confirm Wi‑Fi is on, and retry only the remaining step Mint shows.

You should see: The Mint line works for calls, texts, and data, or Mint shows a clear next error to fix.

Extra tips

What to look for: An ACT or activation code in the Mint order email, and Mint prompts to install a SIM or eSIM after the code is accepted.

Before you change anything: Find the Mint order confirmation email and the ACT code. Use the same email address you used to purchase the plan. Have a stable Wi‑Fi connection before starting eSIM install. Do not buy activation help from random texts or popups.
