How do you finish transferring a Verizon number to Mint Mobile with eSIM?
Answer
In the Mint Mobile app, check transfer status, confirm the Verizon account number and Number Transfer PIN were correct, then turn on the Mint line and restart. If it still shows Verizon after Mint says complete, remove the old Verizon eSIM only after Mint data/calls work.
Follow these steps
Check Mint transfer status
Open the Mint Mobile app and view the number transfer / activation status for your line.
You should see: Status shows in progress, activating, or complete with next steps.
Confirm Verizon port credentials
If stalled, verify the Verizon account number and Number Transfer PIN you submitted. Correct them in Mint support chat if wrong.
You should see: Mint has accurate porting credentials.
Enable the Mint line and restart
In iPhone Cellular settings, turn on the Mint plan if listed as activating, restart the phone, and wait 2–3 minutes for signal.
You should see: Mint becomes the active line for calls and data.
Clean up old Verizon eSIM after success
Only after Mint calls and texts work, remove the old Verizon eSIM profile if it remains and test 911 location/service briefly on Mint.
You should see: A single working Mint eSIM remains.

Extra tips
What to look for: You tried moving from Verizon to Mint, Mint may have billed you, and eSIM or line status still looks like Verizon or Activating.
Before you change anything: Keep the old Verizon line active until Mint says the port completed. Have Verizon account number and transfer PIN ready. Stay on Wi-Fi during eSIM install.
