How do I track a TV ordered from The Good Guys with Australia Post?

Answer

Track the order in your Good Guys account or order confirmation email first, then use any Australia Post tracking number they provide on the official Australia Post website or app.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Ignore parcel texts that ask you to pay a fee or open an unfamiliar link to “release” a delivery.

Follow these steps

  1. Open the Good Guys order details

Sign in to your The Good Guys account or open the order confirmation email. Find the TV order and look for Order status, Dispatch, or Tracking details.

You should see: You see whether the TV is still processing, dispatched, or already has a tracking number.

  2. Copy the Australia Post tracking number

If a tracking or consignment number is shown, copy it exactly. If only “awaiting dispatch” appears, wait for the shipping notification before expecting Australia Post updates.

You should see: You have a full tracking number, or you know the order has not shipped yet.

  3. Track on the official Australia Post site

Go to the official Australia Post Track Your Parcel page or app and enter the tracking number. Avoid links from unexpected SMS messages.

You should see: Australia Post shows scanned events such as accepted, in transit, or out for delivery.

  4. Contact The Good Guys if tracking never appears

If several business days have passed since the promised dispatch window and no tracking number arrives, contact The Good Guys support with your order number and ask for the carrier tracking details.

You should see: Support provides a tracking number, revised dispatch date, or delivery arrangement.

Extra tips

What to look for: Order number, dispatch or shipping email, Australia Post consignment/tracking number, and current delivery status.

Before you change anything: Have the order confirmation email or Good Guys account login ready. Use only thegoodguys.com.au and auspost.com.au (or the official apps). Do not enter card details on random “parcel hold” links from unexpected texts. Never share one-time codes with callers claiming to be Australia Post.
