How do I restore UScellular service on an iPhone after payment issues?

Answer

Confirm the payments posted in the UScellular account, turn the cellular line on in Settings, install any carrier settings update, then reset network settings if the line still shows no service. If the app cannot send a code, use UScellular’s phone support or another verified login path.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Resetting network settings removes saved Wi-Fi passwords and VPN configurations.
  • Do not give account verification codes to people who contact you first.

Follow these steps

  1. Confirm the line is enabled

Go to Settings > Cellular and make sure the UScellular line is turned on for voice and data.

You should see: The line toggle is on.

  2. Install carrier settings

Go to Settings > General > About and wait about 30 seconds; install a carrier settings update if one appears.

You should see: Carrier settings update or no update is offered.

  3. Reset network settings

Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings, then rejoin Wi-Fi and retest cellular.

You should see: The iPhone restarts and searches for UScellular again.

  4. Finish account reactivation

If the status bar still shows no service, contact UScellular support with payment confirmation and ask them to refresh or unsuspend the line; use an alternate identity check if the app code never arrives.

You should see: Support confirms the line is active and signal returns.

Extra tips

What to look for: No service in the status bar, UScellular line toggles in Settings > Cellular, and a carrier settings update prompt under Settings > General > About.

Before you change anything: Keep proof of the recent payments. Prefer official UScellular support channels if the app blocks login codes. Back up Wi-Fi passwords before a network settings reset. Do not share account codes with unexpected callers.
