How do I tell if Oricle hearing aids are on or off?

Many Oricle-style hearing aids turn on when removed from the charger or case and turn off when placed back to charge. To confirm they are working in the ear, remove one aid, wait several seconds, reseat it firmly with a good tip seal, then listen for amplification or a startup cue.

Follow these steps
Check charger status first
Open the charging case and confirm both hearing aids are seated on the contacts. Place them in the case for at least several minutes if they may be depleted, then remove one aid only.
You should see: You know which aid you are testing and it has had a chance to charge.
Power-cycle one aid
Remove one hearing aid from the case, wait 5 to 10 seconds, then place it in your ear. Listen for a startup sound, soft amplification of room noise, or a brief whistle that stops when the tip seals.
You should see: The aid sounds active compared with the ear that has no aid inserted.
Improve the ear seal
If it still seems silent, remove it and reinsert more firmly so the tip seals in the canal, or switch to a larger tip if one was included. Repeat the wait-and-insert check.
You should see: Sound is clearer, or you can tell the aid is amplifying once the tip seals.
Compare the second aid
Repeat the same remove, wait, and reseat steps with the other hearing aid. If one works and the other does not, clean the contacts and charge the silent aid longer before testing again.
You should see: Both aids sound on, or only one remains silent after charging.
