Why won't a 7700 Elite treadmill fold fully upright?

Follow these steps
Unplug and clear the area

Inspect the locking latch
With the deck slightly raised, look for the locking pin or latch at the base. Check for loose bolts, bent brackets, or a latch that does not line up with its catch.

Lift evenly into the upright lock
