How do I cancel a Subpilot subscription on Google Play?

Answer

Open the Google Play Store, switch to the Google account that bought Subpilot, then go to Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions and cancel Subpilot. Check the original purchase receipt email if you are unsure which Google account was charged.

Follow these steps

  1. Identify the purchasing Google account

Open the Subpilot receipt email or Play order history and note which Google account was charged.

You should see: You know which account owns the subscription.

  2. Switch to that account in Play Store

Open Google Play Store, tap the profile picture, and switch to the purchasing Google account.

You should see: Play Store is using the account that billed Subpilot.

  3. Cancel Subpilot in Subscriptions

Go to Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions, open Subpilot, and choose Cancel subscription, then confirm.

You should see: Play shows Subpilot as cancelled and states when access ends.

  4. Confirm no other store is billing

If Subpilot is not listed, check other Google accounts and any Apple/other store receipt that might own the subscription instead.

You should see: The correct store subscription is cancelled or you know where it still bills.

Extra tips

What to look for: Subpilot listed under Play subscriptions, the charged Google account on the receipt, and the renewal date

Before you change anything: Find the Subpilot purchase receipt email. Know which Google account is on the phone. Cancel at least a day before renewal when possible. Uninstalling the app alone may not stop billing.
