How do I cancel an app subscription on iPhone?

On iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, select the app, and tap Cancel Subscription. Uninstalling the app does not stop billing. If the subscription is missing there, check Family Sharing, another Apple Account, or whether you subscribed on the app’s website instead.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Never give your Apple ID password or verification codes to someone who offers to cancel a subscription for you.
- Canceling stops renewal but usually does not refund the current period automatically.
Follow these steps
Open Apple Subscriptions
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
You should see: You see active and expired subscriptions for this Apple Account.
Cancel the app
Tap the app subscription, then Cancel Subscription (or Expire), and confirm. Note the date access ends.
You should see: The subscription shows it will not renew.
If it is not listed, check other billers
Sign out/in only if needed to the Apple Account that paid. Also check the app’s website billing if you subscribed outside the App Store, and check Family Organizer subscriptions if you are in a Family group.
You should see: You find and cancel the renewal in the correct billing place.
Optionally delete the app
After canceling, delete the app if you no longer need it. Keep the email receipt for your records.
You should see: Billing is canceled and the app is removed if desired.
