How do I cancel a StartWebTools subscription on iPhone?

Answer

Cancel StartWebTools from the iPhone’s Apple ID subscription list: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, then choose StartWebTools and Cancel Subscription. Keep the confirmation email Apple sends as proof auto-renew is off.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Apple Subscriptions

On the iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.

You should see: You see a list of active and expired Apple subscriptions.

  2. Find StartWebTools

Scroll the list and tap StartWebTools. If it is missing, tap Expired or check another Apple ID that may have been used for the purchase.

You should see: The StartWebTools subscription details and renewal date appear.

  3. Cancel the subscription

Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial if still in a trial). Confirm the cancel prompt. Do not delete unrelated data if Apple only asks to confirm cancellation.

You should see: The status changes to show it will not renew, with an end date for current access.

  4. Save the confirmation

Check the email inbox for the Apple ID for a cancellation or subscription-changed message and keep that email. You can also screenshot the Subscriptions screen showing Cancelled / Expires.

You should see: You have written proof that auto-renew is off.

  5. Confirm on account.apple.com if needed

If the iPhone list still looks wrong, sign in at account.apple.com on a browser with the same Apple ID, open Media & Purchases / Subscriptions, and cancel StartWebTools there.

You should see: StartWebTools shows as cancelled on the Apple account as well.

Extra tips

What to look for: StartWebTools listed under Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, with an active or renewing status and a Cancel Subscription button.

Before you change anything: Confirm which Apple ID is signed in on the iPhone that bought the subscription. Note the renewal date before you cancel. Do not enter payment details on unexpected popup pages that claim to cancel for you. Never share your Apple ID password with anyone offering cancellation help.
