How do I fix a Ulefone Armor X12 that cannot make calls?

Answer

Toggle Airplane mode, confirm the SIM and mobile data are enabled, then reseat the SIM and restart the phone. If signal bars never return, the SIM, carrier account, or network settings usually need attention before any deeper hardware repair.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Do not factory reset until you have backed up photos and accounts, because a reset erases local data.

Follow these steps

  1. Toggle Airplane mode

Swipe down to open Quick Settings, turn Airplane mode on for about 30 seconds, then turn it off and wait for the network to reconnect.

You should see: Signal bars return, or the phone shows a clearer No service state.

  2. Restart the phone

Power off the Ulefone Armor X12 completely, wait about 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

You should see: The phone boots and tries to register on the mobile network again.

  3. Confirm SIM and mobile network settings

Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs or Mobile network. Make sure the SIM is turned on, the correct SIM is selected for calls, and Mobile data is enabled if you also need data.

You should see: The SIM shows as active and available for calls.

  4. Reseat the SIM card

Power off the phone, remove the SIM card, wipe it gently with a dry cloth, reinsert it firmly in the correct tray orientation, then restart the phone.

You should see: The phone detects the SIM and signal bars appear.

  5. Check signal and carrier status

Look at the signal bars and try a call. If there is still no service, ask the carrier to confirm the line is active and that the Armor X12’s network bands are supported on your plan.

You should see: Calls connect, or the carrier identifies an account or compatibility issue.

Extra tips

What to look for: Missing signal bars, No service or Emergency calls only, SIM turned off in settings, and whether texts or mobile data also fail

Before you change anything: Confirm the SIM still works in another phone if you have one available. Note whether Wi-Fi calling or only cellular calls are failing. Avoid random network “booster” apps. Do not share carrier account codes with unexpected callers.
