How do I refill Straight Talk phone service?

Answer

Refill in the official Straight Talk app or website by signing into the account, choosing a plan, and paying with a card or refill pin sold at retail. You can also dial the short codes Straight Talk documents for refill from the phone. Avoid third-party “refill agents” who ask for remote access or one-time codes.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Do not give one-time codes or remote access to people who claim they can refill Straight Talk for you.

Follow these steps

  1. Sign in to Straight Talk

Open the official Straight Talk app or website and sign in. Select the line that needs service.

You should see: You see plan status and Refill / Renew options.

  2. Buy or redeem a plan

Choose a plan and pay, or enter a refill PIN from a retail card. Confirm the service end date updates after payment.

You should see: The account shows active service with a new expiration date.

  3. Restart the phone

Restart the phone and place a test call or open a webpage on cellular data. Toggle Airplane Mode if service does not appear within a few minutes.

You should see: Signal returns and cellular data works.

  4. Use official help if payment fails

If the payment errors, try another method in the official app or contact Straight Talk through its published support channels—not a number from a search ad.

You should see: The refill completes or support corrects a stuck PIN redemption.

Extra tips

What to look for: Service end date; Bring Your Own Phone / Straight Talk account number or IMEI/SIM; refill PIN card; payment confirmation

Before you change anything: Have the phone number or account details ready. Buy refill cards only from trusted retailers if using pins. Use straighttalk.com or the official app—not a texted link. Do not share the account PIN with unexpected callers.
