How do I show live Garmin ride data on an iPhone with a MARQ Gen 2?
Answer
Confirm the MARQ Gen 2 is connected and synced in Garmin Connect, allow Bluetooth for Connect, then start the ride from the watch with the phone nearby and LiveTrack/phone notifications enabled if you use them.
Follow these steps
Confirm the watch is connected
Open Garmin Connect on the iPhone, find the MARQ Gen 2, and pull down to force a sync. Confirm it shows as connected.
You should see: Connect lists the MARQ as connected and sync finishes.
Allow Bluetooth for Garmin Connect
On the iPhone go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth and make sure Garmin Connect is allowed. Also confirm Settings > Bluetooth shows the watch connected when Connect is open.
You should see: Connect has Bluetooth permission and can reach the watch.
Enable LiveTrack or phone live features you need
In Garmin Connect, open the safety/sharing or LiveTrack settings for your device and enable LiveTrack (and any phone display options you use) before the ride.
You should see: Live sharing/display options are turned on for this activity type.
Start the bike activity from the watch
On the MARQ, start a Bike activity with the iPhone unlocked nearby. Wait for the live/connected indicators described in Garmin’s LiveTrack help rather than only watching a third-party video.
You should see: The phone shows the live session or tracking page.
Restart both devices if still missing
Restart the iPhone and MARQ, reopen Connect, sync once, and start a short test ride again.
You should see: Live data appears on the phone during the test.
