How do I cancel a Guardio subscription?

Answer

Cancel Guardio where you originally subscribed—often Google Play subscriptions, the Apple subscriptions list, or Guardio’s account billing page—then uninstall the extension if desired.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Only cancel through official Play/Apple/Guardio pages—ignore popups that demand immediate payment to cancel.

Follow these steps

  1. Identify who billed you

Check your email receipts or bank statement for charges labeled Google Play, Apple, or Guardio to learn where the subscription is managed.

You should see: You know which store or site must cancel the plan.

  2. Cancel in Google Play if applicable

Open Google Play Store > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select Guardio, and tap Cancel subscription. Confirm.

You should see: Play Store shows Guardio as canceled.

  3. Cancel in Apple subscriptions if applicable

On iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, open Guardio, and cancel. On a Mac, use App Store account settings > Subscriptions.

You should see: Apple shows the subscription canceled.

  4. Cancel on Guardio’s site if billed directly

Sign in at Guardio’s official website, open account or billing settings, and cancel the plan if it is not listed in an app store.

You should see: Guardio confirms cancellation.

  5. Remove the extension or app if desired

After canceling, uninstall the Guardio app or remove the browser extension from your browser’s extension settings.

You should see: Guardio is no longer installed and will not renew.

Extra tips

What to look for: Guardio listed under Google Play subscriptions, Apple Subscriptions, or Guardio account billing

Before you change anything: Check a recent bank statement to see whether Google, Apple, or Guardio billed you. Screenshot the cancellation confirmation. Do not give remote access to someone offering to cancel for a fee.
