How do I find a lost Samsung phone?
Answer
From another device, open Google Find Hub (Find My Device) or Samsung Find with the Google/Samsung account on the missing phone. Ring it, view the map location, and enable Secure Device / Lost mode. Also ask the store’s lost-and-found and review parking-lot camera options. Do not post your password or full account recovery codes publicly.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Never share Google or Samsung verification codes with unexpected callers claiming they found your phone.
- Erasing the device deletes data that was not already backed up.
- Be careful approaching strangers at a map pin; involve staff or police if unsafe.
Follow these steps
Locate with Google Find Hub
On another device, open Google’s Find Hub / Find My Device, sign in with the phone’s Google account, select the Samsung phone, and use Play sound or view the map.
You should see: You see a location or last online time, or learn the phone is offline.
Also check Samsung Find
If the phone used a Samsung account, open Samsung Find and attempt locate/ring there as well.
You should see: Samsung Find shows the device status or complements Google’s result.
Secure the device
Enable Secure Device / lost mode with a callback number and lock message. Change important account passwords from another device. Ask the carrier to suspend the line if you will not recover it quickly.
You should see: The phone is locked to strangers and accounts are harder to abuse.
Check the physical location
Visit or call the store/parking lost-and-found with a description of the phone. If Find shows a precise pin and it is safe to do so, search that area. Erase only after you accept that unsynced data will be lost.
You should see: You recover the phone or complete a remote erase with a clear next step for replacement.

Extra tips
What to look for: Find Hub map pin or last seen time; ring ability; Secure Device status; Samsung Find listing; store lost-and-found hours
Before you change anything: Use another phone or computer you trust. Sign in only on google.com/android/find or the official Samsung Find site/app. Enable lost/secure mode before erasing if you still hope to recover it. Call your carrier to suspend service if needed.
