How do I get the picture back on a JVC TV after changing settings or scanning channels?

Exit or cancel any running channel search, then press Input/Source and select the HDMI input for your cable box, stick, or antenna. If the TV stays on Digital 1 with no picture, stop auto-scans and manually choose HDMI. Finish with a power drain if menus are stuck.

Follow these steps
Cancel a stuck channel search
If a scan is still running or the TV keeps returning to Digital 1, press Exit/Back/Menu to cancel, or power the TV off and on once to leave the scan screen.
You should see: You can reach the normal Input or Home controls.
Select the correct input
Press Input or Source and choose the HDMI port connected to your cable box or streaming stick. Only choose TV/Digital/Antenna if you intentionally use an over-the-air antenna.
You should see: Picture returns from the active HDMI device.
Confirm the source device
Power on the HDMI device, reseat the HDMI cable, and try another HDMI port if needed. For antenna TV, complete a scan only when the antenna is connected.
You should see: A stable picture appears on the selected input.
Power-drain if the menu is frozen
Unplug the TV for 60 seconds, plug it back in, and select HDMI again before starting any new channel search.
You should see: Inputs respond normally and the picture stays on the intended source.
