How do I get Paramount+ on a smart TV?
Answer
Open the TV’s Apps row, use Search (magnifying glass), install Paramount+, then sign in with your Paramount+ account or create one on the official app.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Do not sideload Paramount+ from unknown websites; use the TV’s official app store.
Follow these steps
Open the Apps section
On the TV home screen, use the remote arrows along the bottom or side row until you see Apps (sometimes a blue tile) and select it.
You should see: The app store or apps list opens.
Search for Paramount+
At the top of the Apps screen, open Search (often a magnifying glass) and type Paramount+.
You should see: Paramount+ appears in the results.
Install the app
Select Paramount+ and choose Install or Get, then wait until installation finishes.
You should see: Paramount+ is installed and can be opened.
Sign in carefully
Open Paramount+, choose Sign In, and either scan the QR code with your phone or enter the email and password slowly. If the TV returns to the start screen, retry once and confirm Caps Lock is not on.
You should see: You reach the Paramount+ home feed.
Pin the app for later
Add Paramount+ to your home row favorites if the TV allows, so you do not need Search next time.
You should see: Paramount+ is easy to launch from the home screen.
