How do I update payment for SiriusXM after a card was compromised?
Answer
Sign in or register on the official SiriusXM account site, open Billing or Payment Method, replace the compromised card, and pay any overdue balance shown there.
Before you start: stop right away if…
- Enter payment details only on the official SiriusXM site or app, not on links from unexpected messages.
Follow these steps
Open the official SiriusXM account page
Go to the official SiriusXM website and choose Sign In. If you never created a login, choose Register and link the account with your account number plus billing ZIP or email.
You should see: You reach an account dashboard that shows your subscription.
Update the payment method
Open Billing or Payment Method and enter the new debit or credit card details, then save.
You should see: The account shows the new card as the active payment method.
Pay any overdue balance
If the page shows an overdue amount, submit that payment with the new card before leaving the billing screen.
You should see: The balance shows paid or current, and no past-due warning remains.
Confirm service on the radio or app
Wait a few minutes, then check the car radio or SiriusXM app for normal channel access.
You should see: Channels play normally, or any remaining block message is clearly different from a payment issue.

Extra tips
What to look for: Past-due notices, payment-failed messages, or a prompt to register an online login for an existing radio account.
Before you change anything: Have your SiriusXM account number, billing ZIP or email, and the new card ready. Use only the official SiriusXM website or app. Do not give card details to someone who calls you unexpectedly.
