How do I cancel SiriusXM service for a vehicle subscription?

Answer

Sign in to the SiriusXM account online, open Subscriptions, and cancel or chat with SiriusXM support. If the username is unclear, use Forgot Username with the account email before changing any payment settings.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Only cancel through official SiriusXM account tools to avoid fake cancellation services.

Follow these steps

  1. Recover the username if needed

On the official SiriusXM site, choose Forgot Username, enter the account email, and follow the message to identify the login.

You should see: SiriusXM sends or displays the username associated with that email.

  2. Sign in and open subscriptions

Sign in, then go to Account or Subscriptions and locate the active vehicle plan. Use Forgot Password if the password no longer works.

You should see: You see the active SiriusXM subscription details and cancel options.

  3. Cancel the plan

Choose cancel subscription and complete any retention prompts until you receive a cancellation confirmation number or email.

You should see: The account shows a cancel date and future billing stops.

  4. Confirm in the vehicle later

After the cancel date, check that the Armada radio no longer has paid channel access, or that free/preview mode matches what SiriusXM confirmed.

You should see: Paid service ends as stated in the confirmation.

Extra tips

What to look for: Forgot Username / Forgot Password options, Subscriptions or Membership pages, and confirmation emails after canceling.

Before you change anything: Have the vehicle radio ID ready if the website asks for it—often available from the radio’s Settings or by tuning to channel 0. Use only the official SiriusXM website or app. Keep the cancellation confirmation. Never share account passwords with unexpected callers.
