How do I exit Lenovo BIOS setup and turn the laptop back on after a scan?

In the Lenovo Setup Utility, use the arrow keys to open the Exit tab and choose Exit Discarding Changes (or Exit Saving Changes only if you intentionally changed settings). The laptop should reboot to Windows; if the screen stays dark, hold power 15 seconds and press power once to start again.

- Changing Security or Boot options incorrectly can prevent Windows from starting.
Follow these steps
Open the Exit tab
Using the keyboard arrow keys, move to the Exit tab at the top of the Lenovo Setup Utility.
You should see: Exit options such as Exit Saving Changes or Exit Discarding Changes appear.
Leave BIOS without unwanted changes
Highlight Exit Discarding Changes if you did not mean to change anything, then press Enter and confirm. Choose Exit Saving Changes only if you knowingly edited a setting.
You should see: The laptop exits BIOS and begins booting.
Allow Windows to start
Wait for the Windows logo. If a boot menu appears, select the Windows Boot Manager entry and press Enter.
You should see: You reach the Windows sign-in screen.
Hard power cycle if the screen stays dark
Hold the power button for about 15 seconds until the laptop is fully off. Wait 5 seconds, then press the power button once to start it again.
You should see: The laptop powers on into Windows or returns to a clear BIOS screen you can Exit from.

What to look for: “Lenovo Setup Utility” across the top; tabs for Configuration, Security, Boot, Exit; no Windows desktop yet.
Before you change anything: Do not change Secure Boot or Storage settings unless you know you need to. Prefer Exit Discarding Changes if you did not mean to edit BIOS. This path does not erase files unless you enter a full OS reset option. Remove USB installers that might boot instead of Windows.
