Activate Mint and keep the number
Follow Mint’s activation flow for a new SIM/eSIM and choose to keep/transfer your existing number when prompted. Do not cancel the old line early.
You should see: Mint shows the line active with your number.
Sign in and sync Google Contacts
On the new phone, sign into the same Google account, open Contacts, and ensure Contacts to display includes that account.
You should see: Your contacts appear in the Contacts app.
Use cable or manufacturer transfer if contacts are only on the old phone
