How do I fix sound problems on a Samsung 55DU7900F TV?

Follow these steps

  1. Power-cycle the TV

    Turn the TV off, unplug it from power for 60 seconds, plug it back in, and turn it on.

    You should see: The TV restarts cleanly; audio may return immediately.

  2. Set output to TV Speakers

    Go to Settings > Sound and set Sound Output to TV Speakers (not a Bluetooth device, HDMI ARC, or soundbar) for this test.

  3. Test volume with the TV buttons

    Switch to a live antenna or a known-good HDMI device. If you have a Samsung-compatible replacement remote, test volume with that remote.

    You should see: Audio works on another input, or a better remote restores volume control.

  5. Reset sound settings or contact Samsung support
