Why doesn’t my prepaid balance show correctly after a refill?

Answer

Verify the refill confirmation against the exact phone number, wait for posting, then restart the phone. If the official account balance is wrong or service stays in Emergency calls only, contact the prepaid carrier with the refill receipt to reapply funds or replace the SIM.

Before you start: stop right away if…

  • Do not send refill PINs or one-time codes to unexpected callers claiming they can fix your balance.
  • Continuing to buy more refills before locating a missing payment can complicate refunds.

Follow these steps

  1. Compare receipt to account balance

Open the official prepaid account page and match the phone number and confirmation ID from your refill receipt to the transaction list.

You should see: You see the refill posted, missing, or applied to another number.

  2. Restart and recheck service

Restart the phone, wait a few minutes, and check whether Emergency calls only clears when the account shows a healthy balance.

You should see: Service returns, or the mismatch remains.

  3. Ask support to reattach the funds

Contact official prepaid support with the receipt and ask them to apply the refill to the correct line or rebuild the plan bucket.

You should see: Balance and plan days update correctly.

  4. Replace SIM if provisioning is stuck

If balance is correct but the phone stays on Emergency calls only, request a SIM swap or eSIM reissue and activate the new SIM.

You should see: Normal calling returns with the corrected balance.

Extra tips

What to look for: Official account balance vs handset status, refill confirmation IDs, and Emergency calls only on the phone.

Before you change anything: Keep every refill receipt. Avoid third-party “balance fixer” apps. Do not share one-time codes from the carrier.
